I'm probably beating a dead horse on this one. I was thinking about the fighting crossovers coming recently: Star Wars characters in Soul Calibur IV, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, and to some extent, that Castlevania Wii game. It seemed like Brawl had set up a trend. Or rather, revived it. What I'm trying to say here, then, is all these characters appearing in different fighting games are Brawl rejects.
