Got a selection of GOOD things on sale, stranger! 2007 December 4 Sorry for the lack of update last week. I was going through finals and didn't have time to sit and come up with a good idea. Also, I originally was going to post a copout (like, a REAL copout, a comic about the lack of comics), but thanks to a conversation in the irc.drshnaps.com network the spark of inspiration came. I suppose you'll only really get it if you're familiar with Resident Evil 4 (which I finally beat recently; awesome game), or maybe other videogames where something similar happens (can't think of any right now). It's amazing how, after you kill dozens of monsters, get through a handfull of traps, and almost get yourself killed, you'll find a place with a blue torch and a sympatheric cloaked merchant waiting for your arrival, ready to give you a warm "WELCOME". Sometimes he even has a buddy of his running a shooting gallery in the next room. Seriously, if the merchant was the main character of the game, not only would he have access to every weapon in the game, but he'd be indestructible. And no one seems his doing anything, which makes him even more badass, due to being sneaky. Like a friggin' ninja. And according to this comic, he can breathe in space. Like Superman. Clark Kent must be secretly under that cloak. |
