Guest Comic by Travis Fuson 2007 December 25 Merry Christmas, dear readers! And to think 2007 is almost over... that was a long year... Today, to celebrate, we have an special occasion! A comic by my friend Travis, which some of you might know better as "King Guacamole"! ...okay, the reason I posted this is because I had no time to come up with something, since I was going to be away for a few days. Which is actually just another reason to thank him very much! The art is hilarious and the joke is great... I was glad to do the coloring and add the text, which is why both our names show up on the bottom right corner. Good job, KG! The joke is this one is about the apparent cancellation of the Kirby game that was originally in development for the Gamecube years ago, and that we heard nothing about for years. They claimed it was going to be ported to the Wii, a la Super Paper Mario, but not a single screenshot showed up after that. It's not too surprising that the game met this fate. Which is kinda sad, since the last time a console Kirby game really stood out was Kirby Superstar for the SNES, which this game seemed very similar to... and that is getting a DS Remake next year. Funny how things go. Also, Travis is clearly much better than I at writing stereotypical accents for japanese characters. Or stereotypical accents of any kind. That's a FACT.
