Cross-company Shenanigans 2008 February 19 Another comic featuring japanese people speaking in a stereotypical way! This time we have The Man himself (If you recognized him right away, congrats, you're a huge nerd), followed by some SEGA dude I found a picture of on the internet and lost. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. What to say about this game. It's... well, honestly, it's kinda fun (mind you, I only tried the DS version), but pretty much a minigame collection with some fanservice to sell. And no, not the "Peach in little clothing" kind of fanservice (She's wearing her usual Mario Sports outfit, but nothing less). The "mascots of two longtime rival companies together" kind, which is the reason the game sells in the first place, and was deemed a bit useless since the inclusion of the spiky marsupial in Masahiro Sakurai's upcoming fighter. Speaking of the former kind of fanservice mentioned (and one of the subjects of this comic)... some people out there (I'd give links but they wouldn't be work-safe) like Princess Peach a bit too much. I would understand one of heroines of M-rated games, but Peach isn't meant to be a sex symbol. She's a cartoon character! Seriously. (Ironically, this strip is number 34. If you understand the connection, you spend too much time in front of the computer)
